Marines attending the course need to be familiarized with MCDP-1, mission analysis (METT-T), and the orders process. The course has a focus of fighting peer enemies and developing the Marines that attend into a critical thinker, fighter leader, and mortar leader. 4. This prep-guide intentionally mirrors the required Command Screening Checklist(CSC), but does not replace it. In order to be accepted to the course, students are required to physically possess the CSC on the convening date. 5.
