Myxopapillary ependymoma. Myxopapillary ependymoma. (A) and (B) T2 weighted images demonstrate a central intrathecal mass in the region of the cauda equina that is of heterogenous increased signal. The filum terminale is seen running in the midline behind the mass on the axial image (white arrow head). There is near-complete effacement of the CSF space.
