Share with Pride – Site lighting up with in 30 minutes Our new Aldebaran XLD2 LED lights were perfect for this overnight stressing job in West Horndon. Torrent Trackside installed 250 yards of lights in under 30 minutes allowing the job to be completed in one 4-hour shift with 2 staff. 2
Share with Pride – Site lighting up with in 30 minutes What are the benefits. The wind-up tripod is quick to deploy. Simply fold the legs out and level up. Clamp light head to mast. Wind up to desired height, Requires no ballasting up, so does not disturb the infrastructure. 3

If placed at 25 metre intervals the lights provide around 100 lux (see chart opposite) which provides better lighting than tower lights spaced at 50 metre intervals. Unlike Tower Lights, these don’t involve any transport issues to/from site. Also there is a fuel saving associated with this system (1.3 litres per hour for 150 yards of lighting) - 2 tower lights would be required to achieve this level of lighting. 4

There is no need to set out lights prior to the job as would be done with conventional link lighting. Significantly reduced risk with fewer men onsite, for less time. The light head can also be used for a lighting station (as seen in the picture opposite) giving 360 degree light output. 5
