I. Why Pakistan and why CPEC so important?

Illustrative facts Strategic location at the crossroads of South Asia, Central Asia, China and Middle East. World Bank (2016): Economic growth rate (4.2%), Inflation rate (4.5%), and Unemployment rate (6.5%). Vast and young population: 208 millions and 35% of the population aged 15 years old or younger. What do the statistics above suggest? Nothing goes wrong: demographic dividend + sounding policies sustained growth Job creations and needs of educations !

Future and preparations today Pakistan 2025 and the ninth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2030 Agenda: 1.5 million new job needed to be created annually (Afraz, 2016). Innovation and entrepreneurship are viable means to deal with huge demand of employments. How so many new jobs can be created?

II. Steps of development – Taiwan experience

Caveat: SMEs versus Global Business

Extremely limited understanding in SMEs and Family Business.

III. Collaboration with Business Schools on CEPC China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC): Goods, merchandizes, agricultures only? Promotion of heritages and values of SMEs and family business between China and Pakistan: Cases of SMEs can be accumulated, Training camps, Coaching and Mentoring camps. Solutions: Center of Family and SMEs - CPEC

IV. Taiwan experience and the role of NTNU 80,000 SMEs in Shanghai and Guangdong area, 800,000 to 1 million of Taiwanese business men
