Timetable Date Monday 13th May Tuesday 14th May Wednesday 15th May Thursday 16th May AM English- Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Paper 1 – Short answer questions (45 mins) Paper 2 – Spelling (15 mins) English Reading (60mins) Maths Paper 1 – Arithmetic (30mins) Paper 2- Reasoning 1 (40 mins) Reasoning 2 (40 mins)

Pupil support Some pupils will be possibly be entitled to extra time (25%) a scribe, a reader, planned rest breaks. We have to apply for these extra entitlements, providing evidence. We will inform pupils and parents when we have been granted any entitlements. It is important for pupils to use these entitlements properly to aid performance.

Preparation – making pupils ready SATs Companion- specific revision topics or tests. CPG Books – complete the page, mark and complete corrections and sign the page. BBC KS2 Bitesize –methods, explanations and questions. Stationery – plenty of sharp pencils, pens, ruler, rubber, sharpener in a clear pencil case. Hearty breakfast and water bottle. Early nights –plenty of sleep!

And to finish… Whilst these tests are important and all children want to do well – these are not the be all and end all! If your child can confidently say they have done their best –then that is all we should expect!
