Lewis and Clark are the ones that found most of the states. Name and picture. Lewis and Clark are the ones that found most of the states.

What is his date of birth and birth place? He was born August 18th 1774 near Charlottesville, Virginia.

What is his parents and siblings names? His dad is William Lewis ,Mom is Lucy Meriwether and his siblings are Jane his older sister, and later a little brother, Reuben, would be born into the family.

What is he famous for? Meriwether Lewis is known for leading the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Examples of what he famous for. “The Clark bridge was named after William Clark, who with Meriwether Lewis in 1804 commanded the 2 year 4,000 mile exploration of the Louisiana Purchase territory up the Missouri River in to the Pacific Northwest.” - Website is greatriverroad.com.

What is he doing now? Meriwether Lewis is dead because he was found dead because people think that he was murdered or suicide. He died in October 11,1809 and he was 35 years old when he died.
