Life Cycle Newborn baby Red Fox is most commonly known as a kit , a kit is born blind and have no fur. when a kit is around 6 to 12 months of age it is allowed to leave a place called a den. They are allowed to mate at the age of 10 months of age. They stay in the den with their mother Adult Red Foxes usually hunt by themselves and even if they are not hungry the will still gather food for their next meal. They will also urinate on trees or rocks to announce: hey I'm coming! In the winter (February and December). The females (if mated) will produce a litter of 2 to 12 kits . They are also great at climbing trees. 1) Info about when animal a baby 2) pic of your animal as baby or when young 3) text telling about animal changes as growing into an adult 4) pic of your animal as an adult 5) change fonts and colors to personalize.

Animal Interactions Red Foxes protect themselves by: teeth (used for biting) , claws ( scratching and pouncing weapon), and kind of sort of their tail/brush in some cases (because of cold and heat by fanning and bundling) they can communicate by like I said urinating on trees and rocks they can also use their tail for communicating impressive, right? In groups they're called a skulk. They have adapted to hunting without making lots of noises because of their ninja like paw pads see to the right. Pic of animal adaptation that allows it to protect itself This is a Red Foxes paw pad that helps it hunt in the wild by being silent. This a golden jackal , its in the list of predators to the right of this text As all animals have Red foxes have predators and some of them include :coyotes, wolves, golden jackals, lynxes , etc. they usually eat rodent like animals they will also sometimes eat rabbits, fish, frogs, and even worms! Interesting Facts Pass A Fist ! Red foxes and/or other types will only fight other foxes if both want the same mate. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! If a Red Fox(or any other type) lives near a farm sadly, the fox will steal the chickens and eat them for lunch (or dinner or breakfast). A pic to accompany fact #2 Paw Or Claw? even though the Red fox and any fox is part of the dog family they hunt very similarly to how a cat will hunt in the wild. 1) Fact #1 and picture 2) fact #2 and picture 3) fact #3 and picture 4) change fonts and colors to personalize.
