SPEECH EXAMPLE WRITTEN Ladies and gentleman. The education in our country is in crisis, but now you have the power to change this situation if you elect me as President. A big problem that we are facing these days is the big differences between private and public schools, not only in terms of resources, but also quality. One way to explain this situation is the training that teachers are receiving at the university. There are enormous differences between one university and the other. I purpose to balance the quality of the training that pedagogy students are receiving. To accomplish this, I propose to create just one big university specialized in teachers training. It’s going to be a free university, in which all areas will be covered. In order to carry this out, I suggest a rechanneling of our existing tax revenue. Finally, If I’m elected, I promise to try my best to make sure your concerns are fully addressed at the local and national level. I’ll take your proposals into consideration and I’ll be available to talk whenever you want.
