Bio & Conflict of Interest Statement Dr. Daryl Kroner

Bio Daryl G. Kroner, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Southern Illinois University. Prior to this position, he was employed as a correctional psychologist from 1986 to 2008. During this time he worked at maximum, medium, and minimum facilities delivering intervention services to offenders. His current research interests include risk assessment, measurement of intervention outcomes, interventions among offenders with mentally illness, and criminal desistance.

Conflict of Interest Statement The following course modules presented by Dr. Daryl Kroner are intended to provide an overview of conducting transition assessments for criminal and violence risk. As a CE course, these modules are intended as an overview only, and not an in-depth review. Individuals interested in more comprehensive coverage of transition assessments for criminal and violence risk are encouraged to pursue further formal training, such as that offered through a university or specialized training program. Neither the CPA nor Dr. Daryl Kroner receives any commercial support for this CE program. Any opinions presented in this course are solely Dr. Kroner’s.
