BEDC Young Professionals Group The BEDC Young Professionals Group (YPG) targets 40 and under in Eagle Pass and the Region. The YPG will help RETAIN local talent. This group will meet monthly provide networking opportunities for its members. YPG members will be provided the opportunity to advocate for issues that impact working professionals and are inline with the overall goals and objectives of the Eagle Pass BEDC. YPG will fall under the BEDC Labor Workforce & Training and Executive Labor Mentoring Sub-Committee.

YPG Officer responsibilities Draft and approve organizational bylaws and articles or corporation. Set executive committee monthly meeting. Set monthly general membership meetings and receptions. Assist in membership recruitment. Approve operating budget, assist in fundraising, maintain financial stewardship of organization. Assist in program development. Be active.
YPG Responsibilities President – Provide overall leadership for the YPG, conduct Key 3 monthly meetings, preside over executive committee meetings and general meetings. Executive Vice-Presidents – Provide support to the YPG President, provide leadership to assigned Outreach Chairs. Outreach Chairs – Provide support to the Executive Vice-Presidents, conduct official outreach on behalf of the YPG to your assigned focus area in support of fundraising, program, membership, and civic engagement. Additionally, recruit general members to join your sub-committee. General Members – Serve on a YPG sub-committee and support the overall mission, vision, and values of the YPG.
