How many Quotes/ quote sandwiches do you need in a short response? 2

What should you write first in a Short response? The answer to the question or your claim! Then you put your two quote sandwiches!

How do you know how many paragraphs to include in the extended response? Use the Bullet points to decide! So you would need an Intro, conclusion, and then a paragraph for each bullet point question/Point.

So how many paragraphs would this extended response need? The idea of understanding other people is important in “Excerpt from The Egypt Game .” Why is understanding other  people important to the story?  How is this idea  developed throughout the story?  Use details from the story to support your response. In your response, be sure to • explain why understanding other people is important to the story • explain how this idea is developed throughout the story • use details from the story to support your response 4! Get out a scrap sheet of paper! What is the last thing you should include? Conclusion paragraph! Use the intro paragraph questions to create your conclusion. If you are cool, what should you include at the end? An inspirational/Cheesy closing sentence about why the topic is Important

Review: Short response: Claim and two quote sandwiches Extended response: Make an intro using the questions and key topics. Each bullet equals a short response (claim and two quote sandwiches) Use the intro to make a conclusion. Bonus if you are inspiring. Try to use transitions: First, then, next, in conclusion, as you can see- these can improve your grade and are EASY to add! Double finger indent all paragraphs!

How many paragraphs will this essay be?
