How to Apply to Become an IBM Hardware Reseller

Apply to Become and IBM Hardware Reseller Start on the PartnerWorld Home Page www.ibm.com/partnerworld and click on “Join PartnerWorld”

Register for an IBM ID An IBM ID is required to apply as an IBM Business Partner. If you already have an IBM ID skip to page 8 If you do not already have an IBM ID: Click on “Register for an IBM ID”

Register for an IBM ID Click “Register” on the My IBM Profile page.

Register for an IBM ID Complete the required fields for My IBM Registration and click “Submit” at the bottom of the second page. Your IBM ID and password will activate immediately. Top of page for Step 2 Bottom of same page

Register for an IBM ID You will see the following message once you have successfully registered for an IBM ID: “Thank you for registering with ibm.com”

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware Click on “Apply to Sell IBM Products and Services”: Under the “Register your company” heading on the “Join PartnerWorld” page. http://www-200.ibm.com/partnerworld/pwhome.nsf/weblook/pub_join_allBPs.html

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware Click on “Systems, servers and storage and Retail Store Systems”

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware On the Apply screen, scroll down to New Applicants and click on the "Apply for a Systems & Technology Group Business Partner relationship" Fill in your IBM ID and Password in the pop-up box and click “OK”

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware Choose a Business Partner relationship. The application will customize based on your relationship selection.

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware Complete all required input for each page and click “Continue” to proceed. Example:

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware Read the “Electronic Signature and Submission…” page and click “Submit”. Your application will be submitted for the Distributor to review.

Apply to Resell IBM Hardware On the final page of the application, you will receive a tracking number. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing. In the event of a delay, new candidates may contact your chosen Distributor and provide them with the tracking number in order to check the status of your application.
