GOD'S REPLY IS A HOLY COMMUNITY Last week we found in Chapter 1 - HOLY…by Divine & Human Election HOLY…by Pastoral Influence HOLY…by Sound Doctrine

This week (Ch. 2): A holy community that transmits God's reply through - bold, biblical teaching, people whose lives reflect Jesus, hope for a glorious future.

God’s Reply to Canada is a CHURCH with BOLD, BIBLICAL TEACHING

God isn't communicating through crowds or by the size and beauty of sanctuaries

Rather, it’s through BIBLICAL TEACHING that is - - AUTHORITATIVE (1, 15) - TRANSFORMATIONAL (2-12) - ROLE-MODELLED (7-8)

God’s Reply to Canada is a CHURCH with PEOPLE WHOSE LIVES REFLECT JESUS True Christians today are God's message to our world HE is the WORD in flesh

Mature women to whom the younger ones go for help Godly men who make old age attractive People whose lives reflect Jesus!

People whose lives reflect Jesus! Dependable employees who earn full trust Young women whose conduct brings honour to God's Word People whose lives reflect Jesus!

GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THEM! NOTE THE COMMENTS: Vs.5 – So that no one will malign the Word of God Vs.8 – So that those who oppose may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us Vs.10 – So that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THEM!

Does HE speak through us?

God’s Reply to Canada is a CHURCH projecting HOPE FOR A GLORIOUS FUTURE!

God’s message is: Don’t plan on staying in this place forever There’s a better world ahead.

VERSES 13-14 “We wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.”

Christians have read the last chapter of the Book and know for sure that Glory's A-waiting!

Forget about the ROC: have you accepted God's message to you... …through bold, biblical teaching, …by people whose lives speak Jesus, …about the hope of a glorious future?

The only way is by saying, “YES. ” to Jesus Christ The only way is by saying, “YES!” to Jesus Christ. Will you do that now?
