Praying through the Heart of the Year for the Soul of Our Nation

Prayer Focus Week 17: August 22 - 28 Christians involved in bold witness accompanied by miracles, dramatic conversions, and Holy Spirit-empowered victories over evil (Church)

1. Pray that Christians will stand boldly for Christ regardless of ridicule, rejection, or other consequences. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Sunday) Pray for our government.

2. Pray for a resurgence of the miraculous accompanying the preaching of the gospel. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Monday) Pray for our military.

3. Pray that Christians will experience increasing discernment and wisdom when confronted with evil and false teaching. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Tuesday) Pray for our media.

4. Pray that Christians will be both bold and wise as they explore and encounter spiritual warfare. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Wednesday) Pray for our businesses.

5. Pray that Christians will grow in their reliance on the Holy Spirit, recognizing their need for spiritual power. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Thursday) Pray for our schools.

6. Pray that churches welcome and embrace supernatural manifestations in their ministries and services. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Friday) Pray for our churches.

7. Pray that God will provide for evangelists and evangelistic ministries, as well as increase their influence and impact on society. National Day of Prayer Emphasis (Saturday) Pray for our families.
