NPT Look up the NPT: Non Proliferation Treaty and any other subject matter in order to answer the questions Answer the following questions on a word document Print and turn in by end of class tuesday

Questions What is the main objective of the NPT? Define disarmament. When did the NPT first begin? How many state (countries) signed the treaty? How many nuclear nations? Which Nuclear nations have signed the NPT? What is the IAEA? How does this organization work for the goals of the NPT? What are weapons of mass destruction? Give examples of WMDs? Find a picture or document that shows the total number of nuclear warheads by country. Copy and paste as part of the assignment. Which 2 countries have the most nuclear warheads? What are some affects of a nuclear attack? What is the range of the nuclear bomb? How long does it take for radiation to clear after a nuclear bomb?
