Uh-Oh here comes war! Churchill came to power at a time when all of Britain's allies had fallen and all they had left to depend on was themselves. France had already been overrun by Nazi Germany. He rallied the nation to defeat Germany in the Battle of Britain, strengthened the royal navy and air force, and sent troops to the middle east to battle the axis powers. Even though he believed in democracy and held communism in contempt he accepted communist Russia as an ally to help defeat the axis forces.

Uh-Oh here comes war! Through his confidence in American forces, even though they had a policy to get involved in WWII doing anything short of war, he convinced them to get involved in the war to defeat Germany once and for all. Three days after the war was won Winston Churchill lost his office as primer because the labor party lost popularity. He sat in office from (WWII was from 1939 to 1945)

We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing-grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender!"

Good & Bad Qualities StrengthsWeaknesses Willingness to work with others His ability to deliver rousing speeches Nationalism Perserverence Wit Sarcasm Trust in the ideal alliance Loyalty to his party until the end (took him out of office as primer) winning is the only option
