Berenice & Alonso’s LAKESIDE Wedding Berenice and Alonso’s Story Berenice and Alonso, the newly engaged couple are set to have their wedding this spring, on May 19, 2018. Berenice and Alonso’s love story begin almost two years ago. They met at the Richmond International Airport after they both boarded the same flight headed to Atlanta. Alonso hadn’t read his ticket correctly and was seated in Berenice’s spot. Berenice politely informed Alonso he was in her seat. His was actually the next one over from hers. They talked during the entire flight to Atlanta and realized they had lot in common. Their love for traveling, exploring new places, and eating food local to the area would be their strongest connection. That day was a turning point for the both their lives. Berenice wants a lakeside wedding, where her guest of 100, can enjoy the scenic backdrop of nature at its best. The waterfront view at the Swift Creek Reservoir is the perfect venue. Although Berenice and Alonso are lively and vibrant people, they choose a natural color scheme of beige, ivory and white for their wedding. Upon arrival, guest will be greeted with cocktails and festive music to set the mood for the night to come. An open bar is a must for this couple, whose menu is on the lighter side with gourmet sandwiches of Shrimp Rolls with a lemon basil Aioli, California Cobb Sandwiches, and Green Goddess Sandwiches, just to name a few. The reception will be full of fun and entertainment with the first dance, father and daughter dance as well as mother and son dance. Other reception traditions will include the Best Man’s toast to the Bride and Groom. After the reception festivities are over, the newly wedded couple and their guest plan to dance the night away with music that is both Latin inspired and trending Pop, and R&B. After a day of rest from the wedding ceremony, Berenice and Alonso will head to their honeymoon destination in St. Lucia. While there, Berenice and Alonso will enjoy breathtaking views at the Ladera Resort with its open wall concept to take in the natural beauty, forestry and Caribbean Sea. This trip is chapter one of many more to come in their journey as Mr. & Mrs.  

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Attire For Berenice’s lakeside wedding, we wanted to mood to be relaxing, welcoming, yet with a touch of sophistication. For the groom I choose a dressy casual look of a linen vest and pant suit without the jacket. The bride will be adorned in a beautiful mermaid style lace over lay dress. That’s suitable for a lakeside wedding. For the bridesmaids dresses, I went with light and airy dresses of different styles, but of the same color. Nothing will be cuter, than the ring bearer in his tan shorts and suspenders with an adorable bow tie. In keeping with the dressy causal feel of the wedding party, we want the guest to feel relaxed as well in their attire.

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Accessories A babies breath hair band adds just the right element for the outdoor bride. What is more beautiful than a diamond and pearl earring and necklace set. The teardrop earrings and necklace is the perfect finishing touch for Berenice Berenice prefers a bouquet that is simplistic yet mesmerizing. This bouquet of White Ranunculus and Eucalyptus will give her both. The grooms boutonniere will feature the same flowers as the bride. Keeping in line with Berenice’s hair band, the brides maids and grooms men bouquet and boutonniere are of babies breath..

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Anticipation Berenice loves the outdoors, the lakeside views of the save the dates and invitations is the perfect way to capture a glimpse of the celebration to come. Berenice and Alonso’s guest will thank them for the programs that double as fans. The fans could also double as wedding favors. What better way to build the anticipation of the guest than by asking them to Hashtag their celebration.

Berenice and Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Arrival Upon arrival guest will see directional signs to guide them through the venue. Later as the guest enter into the reception, they will be able to locate their table using the post card designed escort cards. Placing a decorative mirror at the entrance of the venue with the names of the bride, groom, and their parents is sure to add a special touch. As guest arrive, they will be greeted with a signature cocktails created just for the special occasion.

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Atmosphere The backdrop of the Swift Creek Reservoir and it natural beautiful wooded landscaping sets the perfect atmosphere for Berenice’s wedding. The reflection of the trees upon the lake, are postcard mesmerizing. As the night comes to a close, I have planned a special surprise for the bride and groom by having the night sky illuminating with a spectacular show of fireworks.

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Appetite To add a signature touch to the wedding, Berenice intends to include in the cocktail hour, international themed hors d’oeuvres inspired by her world travels. Dinner will be gourmet sandwiches served with an assortment of fruit. Berenice prefers a beautifully display of pastries rather than the traditional wedding cake.

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Amusement For the amusement there will be a DJ who will entertain everyone with Latin inspired tones as well as the latest in Pop and RB. For the ladies, Berenice plans to keep the party alive and jumping by providing slippers, that also double as wedding favors. There will also be a photo booth for everyone to enjoy with plenty props to add fun and excitement. There will even be a corn hole set for those feeling a little playful.

Berenice & Alonso’s Lakeside Wedding Appreciation To show appreciation to the guest, there will be little travel boxes filled with candies and a personalized travel and adventure bottle opener. Thank you cards will be on their way after the Honeymooner’s return.
