FIGURE 1 Schematic of TTOT procedure performed with use of a Raulerson syringe. A 20-gauge needle attached to the syringe is inserted into the trachea. Using an Arrow advancer (AA), a guide wire (GW) is inserted through the hollow piston and the metal cannula (MC) into the trachea. The remainder of the procedure is then performed in the usual fashion.
