Safe Driving Plan Lake County Schools

Safe Driving Plan History March 2013: Began Process of finishing Safe Driving Plan that was begun in November 2012. Work was done collaboratively with the non-instructional bargaining unit. Agreed Upon Document was signed by Transportation Administration and Union and signed on 06/04/13. Then went to Board for approval. First Meeting was held in September 2013.

RESULTS During the 2013-14 school year, the Safe Driving Committee heard and issued consequences on 66 at fault incidents. During the 2014-15 school year, the Safe Driving Committee has heard and issued consequences on 29 at fault incidents through March 1st. This has us on pace to have 37 for the year. A decrease of 44%.
