Resume Augustus Caesar City and Country you live in: Rome, Italy Background (Family and events leading up to becoming Emperor): Father Julius Caesar (adopted). Marc Antony and I worked together to punish Julius Caesar’s killers. We became enemies when Antony fell in love with Cleopatra (Queen of Egypt) and divorced his wife who was my sister. Civil War breaks out between Antony & I. I win and become ruler! Skills (how did he improve Rome’s government): I gained respect from the senate by giving them power, but really kept power for myself. Its believed that I changed the republic into an empire. Experience (what job did he have): Princeps (First Citizen) then Augustus “Revered One”-an Emperor of Rome Accomplishments (all the things he did for Rome): Created a fire department and police force, made new aqueducts, improved and expanded roads, built a new forum with statues, monuments, temples, etc.
