Resources for September

My original inspiration for looking beyond the four walls of my school

What to get right in maths lessons Routine, expectations, relationships and behaviour Clear explanations, carefully chosen examples, strong subject knowledge Perfectly pitched resources/ question sets with a good level of challenge for all  

Resources are not our number one priority, but... a good resource can be inspiring, engaging, insightful, diagnostic, instructional. A good resource is one that helps with learning. Students gain something from it, be that fluency, understanding, insight

Maths teachers are so lucky Maths teachers are so lucky! We have more resources than any other subject* But the volume can be overwhelming. And some resources are really rubbish. * Not necessarily true so don’t quote me on that...
