Microsoft Office Word 2003 Lesson 1 Getting Started with Word This slide could be used as students enter the room or as the instructor introduces the lesson. Lesson 1: Getting Started with Word

Getting Started with Word When should you use Word? Provide a brief overview of Word and the types of documents that it can be used to create. For example: a word-processing program to make the creation of documents easier and more accurate, memos, faxes, reports, letters, charts, newsletters, and so on. Lesson 1: Getting Started with Word

Getting Started with Word Click the Start button. Point to All Programs. Point to Microsoft Office. Click on Microsoft Office Word 2003. It might help students become oriented if you mention that clicking the Start button lets you find all of the programs installed on your computer. Lesson 1: Getting Started with Word
