“INTENTIONAL HOSPITALITY” Romans 12:9-13

9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.

10 Love one another with brotherly affection 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

DON’T NEGLECT HOSPITALITY, BE INTENTIONAL.

WHY HOSPITALITY?

HOSPITALITY IS GROUNDED IN THE WORD OF GOD.

Leviticus 19:33-34

33 “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.

34 You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love

him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”

Leviticus 19:33-34 Ephesians 2:11-12

11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by

what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands—12 remember that you were

at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the

covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
