Gathering The Voices

What do you think it means to gather voices?

Gathering voices might mean to collect what people say and store their statements – or testimonies – in one place.

Why might we want to gather voices?

We might gather voices when something important happens.

Police write down or record witness statements.

Members of the public might use their mobile phones to record something interesting or unusual.

When are voices gathered in a school?

How do you think you could gather voices?

Voices could be gathered by writing them down or making an audio or video recording. Eye-witness statements can be powerful evidence of what happened in the past.
