Lessons learned Report to the ESSC in November 2017: on the right track Works well: linking theory with practice, collaboration between NSIs and univerisities, potential recruitment pool To improve: ESSC commitment, attracting new students ESSC opinion 1. The ESSC took note of the results of the surveys carried out to assess the EMOS project and agreed with the recommendations of the EMOS Board to continue implementing the project without introducing major changes. 2. The ESSC agreed with the tentative roadmap for major EMOS activities for the years 2017 – 2019 presented in the report and to launch a third call for applications in spring 2018. 3. The ESSC committed to promoting collaboration with universities and to increasing awareness about EMOS, as well as to promoting internships in their institutions.

European Statistical Week – Open Days I am responsible for advising my fellow students at my university about EMOS. After the week I am able to advise them better than before ESW. And I am thinking about the possibility to work in Eurostat.
