Our time at Stackpole

WHEN On the 28th of April 2014, year 5 went on a trip to Stackpole. It was really fun and enjoyable.

WHO Our teachers were Mrs Best, Mr Protherough, Mrs Paxton, Mr Burgess, Mrs Bletchley, Mr Hewins and Mrs Atkins. Our leaders from stackpole were called Ben, Mim, Matt, Jackie and Ak . The cooks names were Erica and Karen. They cooked the most delicious meals EVER!!! They had a few helpers called Madeline and Joanna.

Journey On the coach there was a buzz of excitement. We stopped of at the service station, ate our lunch and played on the apparatus. Then we carried on the journey. WE soon arrived!!

Where were we?

Canoeing. ( our most popular activity). Everybody loved canoeing because it was really fun. In one of the groups their leader,Mr Protherough, fell in! Here is proof.

Our personal favourite activity was ROCK POOLING Our personal favourite activity was ROCK POOLING! We fell in lots because it is slippy. We caught many different animals such as fish, crabs, eels, shrimps and prawns!

John Muir Award The John Muir Award is all about looking after nature. It contains 4 things. Discovery Explore Conservation Sharing We discovered new places. Explored the place we discovered. Conserved by cleaning the beach and brambling or weeding. We are now sharing with YOU.
