Definitions Condominiums- individually owned units in a multiple- family dwelling. Landlords- owners of rental housing. Lease- a written rental agreement. Multiplex- Three or more units sharing one building. Utilities- basic services such as electricity, gas, and sewer services. Tenant- someone who rents from a landlord. Accent lighting- an intense beam of light aimed at a painting, sculpture, or other object to create a dramatic effect. Traffic patterns- paths people use to get from one area in a room to another. Hazard- source of danger. Functional furniture- furniture that meets a specific need.
