AP Notebook Organization Ms. Curl’s AP Language & Composition

3-Ring Binder Tabs Your notebook will have 5 sections: “Warm-ups” This section will hold the grammar and usage warm-ups we do daily and will become a reference for you. “Rhetorical Analysis” There are three essays on the AP Language & Composition exam: Rhetorical Analysis, Argument, and Synthesis. You will keep a tabbed section for each in your notebook. “Argument” “Synthesis” “Vocabulary”

Binder Upkeep Keep your binder organized and maintained. Your notebook is your writing reference in this course. Bring your binder to class each day. If you are absent, please check the my website for any handouts you missed.

Composition Notebook Your composition notebook will be used for journaling. Bring your journal to class each day or, if you wish, you may keep it in the classroom. Make sure your name and period are clearly printed on the cover.
