Day is split according to activities; 4 activities per day plus evening entertainment. Centre staff are fully trained and very enthusiastic. All staff are safety and first aid trained.

What do they need to do before they go? Practice making their bed. The children will have to put sheets on their beds and put on a duvet cover and pillowcases. Practice packing their own bag. The children will be expected to repack their clothes and organise their laundry/shoes/boots etc.
Kit list No sleeping bags will be needed. Pyjamas / night clothes Casual clothes for the evening Wash kit and towel Teddy bear (optional!) Waterproof coat jacket/sweatshirt for activities Wellingtons or walking boots Old clothes that will get muddy Torch Underwear and socks T-shirts Trousers / tracksuit bottoms Jumpers Indoor shoes (trainers / plimsolls) Please provide a couple of plastic bags for dirty clothing/footwear Staff will take photos of the events and once checked for permissions will be put on the school website.
Pocket money There is a tuck shop/gift shop open on the Thursday evening. If you wish your child to have any spending money we advise a maximum of £5 (Includes gift shop) Please put any pocket money in an envelope with your child's name clearly marked. Please send change. The envelopes will be collected from the children by staff before we leave on Thursday morning. Money is stored safely onsite.
thursday morning Arrive at school at normal time with bag packed and labelled clearly. One bag per child. (Bags to be left by annex.) During registration children hand in spending money in separate envelopes, clearly labelled with child’s name. Hand in medicines to Miss Mitchell and Mrs Marks. If you haven’t already filled in a medical form you will need to complete one when handing in the medicine. Please make sure that all meds are in original packaging, clearly labelled with your child’s name. PLEASE REMEMBER TO GIVE TRAVEL SICKNESS PILLS TO YOUR CHILD BEFORE COMING TO SCHOOL.

And finally… This is a great opportunity for the children to develop their independent skills and enable them to achieve things they may not have felt possible. Thank you to the staff who are giving up their time to ensure this trip is a success. We aim to be back at school for 3pm and the children can be collected then. They will be tired and probably be in need of a bath.
