He just changed from a tadpole into a frog.

Listening script 1 3 FREDDY, THE FROG(1) Freddy the frog dipped his long, thin legs into the water. Within a few short weeks he had changed from a small tadpole into the beautiful animal he was now. He smiled to himself. Then suddenly he heard a fine, deep sound that carried far into the darkness of the quiet night. Freddy looked up. “Other frogs! I must try and find them,” he thought. 1 3
Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Help! “It is so hard being a grown-up frog on my own.” He began to swim slowly towards the sound. Suddenly he knocked into a large water lily pad. On it sat three confident frogs and they were playing instruments. Freddy climbed onto the leaf. “Can I sing with you?” He asked quietly. “Of course,” they said. He opened his mouth wide and began: Help! I need somebody, Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Help! 2 4&5
When I was young and so much younger than today, I never needed anybody’s help in any way. But now these days are gone, I’m not so self-assured. Now I find--- I’ve changed my mind, I’ve opened up the doors. Help me if you can, I’m feeling down. And I do appreciate you being round. Help me get my feet back on the ground. 2. What happened when the program was over? Everybody liked them and they were truly stars.
3. What problem was caused after they became stars? They were followed everywhere and their personal life was regularly discussed by people.
4. How did Freddy and his friends prevent the fans following them? They wore sunglasses or beards and they tried to hide in the reading rooms of libraries, but it was useless.
5. Where did they go at last and why? Life was too painful for them so they left Britain and went back to the lake.
