The National Disposal Facility for Radioactive Waste in Bulgaria DBE TECHNOLOGY GmbH (Germany), Westinghouse Electric Spain, and SERAW (Bulgaria) Bulgaria plans to build a National Disposal Facility (NDF) for the waste especially arising from early decommissioning of four WWER 440-V230 reactors at the site of Kozloduy. The principle design work started in 2011 and led to the signature with the future constructor to commence construction beginning of 2017. The poster will summarise the main design activities and underlying regulations by highlighting the following issues: The Repository Design Design Basis Repository Operation Repository Licensing Underlying Acts and Treaties Main Documents Technical Design – TD Intermediate Safety Analysis Report – ISAR
