Self-pleasuring or a Nap: Work Choices

Everyone has days when it becomes a chore to get through work because they were up a little late the night before – or are out too late every night, for that matter. Or maybe a particular person’s body is just made to need a rest break in the middle of the afternoon. In such cases, many people find that a nap refreshes them. Indeed, power naps have long been a “thing” in the workplace. Of course, not every office accepts or allows a nap during business hours. If such is the case – or maybe even if a nap is allowed – some guys might want to consider self-pleasuring as a pick-me-up tool instead.

Why a nap? For very young children, a nap is a normal part of their daily routine. They play hard (and “play” is how a child works), their batteries run down, and a nap can recharge and refresh them – as well as give their parents, guardians, or teachers time to refresh themselves or get work of their own done. Adults are more resilient, but there is evidence that even adults need a “recharge.” If it’s not a nap, it may be a mid-afternoon snack, a tea break, or a brisk walk around the block. So it’s no surprise that some people add in a self-pleasuring break as a way of keeping revved up at work.

How many? It’s hard to know how many men regularly self-stimulate at work as a way of regenerating themselves. One survey by a popular magazine found that 39% of people admitted to self-gratifying at work – but admitted may be the key here. Self-pleasuring is still considered shameful, so many may not have been totally truthful. Other estimates put the figure at closer to 60%. And in neither case do we know how often these people self-fondle and whether they do so as a means of recharging. In addition, it seems clear that some jobs allow greater room for self-pleasuring— such as working in an office with readily accessible bathrooms, as compared to working on a construction site with port-a-potties.

Clearly, there are big benefits to taking a nap – your body really does get to rest and truly recharges itself. But to do so, a nap needs to be at least 20 minutes long – and that can be a lot of time to take off from doing actual work. Self-pleasuring, on the other hand, can be much quicker. Many guys can “rub one off” in five minutes. It may not give the kind of total recharge that a nap can, but it is effective in relieving stress, and the dopamine and oxytocin created from a height of pleasure help to raise spirits and make one more positive in outlook – benefits often needed during a busy workday. And while self-pleasuring may not be something that a man is proud of, some men find self-pleasuring more manly and acceptable than needing to nap.

At night It also pays to remember, for those who may find it difficult to sleep, that a little self-pleasuring can go a long way in relaxing the body, putting the mind at ease, and ushering a person into the sleep zone.

If a guy does opt for self-pleasuring rather than a nap at the office, he needs to be sure the member is in good shape and should apply daily a first-class male organ health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). When trying to self-stimulate as quickly as possible, a guy can go overboard and rub himself a little raw. A crème with moisturizers like shea butter and vitamin E can help soothe the member. A raw manhood may also have experienced a loss of sensation, so use a crème with L-carnitine, which has neuroprotective properties to help maintain proper manhood sensitivity. Man 1 Man Oil
