The Punctuation Game!

The Rules… Every time your partner uses one of the pieces of punctuation correctly give them the amount of points each punctuation mark is worth. If you find a piece of punctuation is missing and you can place it in correctly, give yourself the points for that punctuation mark.

Do’s and Don'ts… DON’T try to re- write your partners work into a range of short sentences. DON’T be scared to add in punctuation if it is missing. DO read your partners work carefully. DO make sure you add up all of the points carefully.

The Referral System… If you are unsure about something in your partners work then you each have 2 referrals. This gives you the chance to ask the teacher for their opinion. If the teachers agrees with your idea, you keep your referral, if you are not so lucky then you lose that referral.
