THE SOCIAL EXCHANGE (REGISTRATION) The Social Exchange is an incubator for networking, friendships and support, mentoring, and finding shared experiences. The space is designed to introduce you to your next business partner and newest colleague, plus our staff members from NACUBO are always on-hand to cultivate connections and provide guidance on your membership. The Social Exchange is located in the Convention Center, Level 1, Hall 2 (right next to the Expo) – Lead retrieval services and pick up station is located in the registration area of the Social Exchange. Registration Hours Saturday, July 13: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Sunday, July 14: 6:30 am – 5:15 pm Monday, July 15: 6:30 am – 5:15 pm (Expo closes at 2:00 p.m.) Tuesday, July 16: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm

7 Things Every Exhibitor Should Know….. Send an e-blast inviting attendees to your booth – pre-show attendee list is provided twice for you to do just that. Try a creative direct mail piece, such as a handwritten note, to personally invite attendees. And be sure to follow up with someone who has visited your booth by thanking them for stopping by. Make sure your booth layout is inviting and that signage makes it clear what your company offers. Don’t over-crowd your booth – the point is you want attendees to come in and visit. Don’t eat in your booth while attendees are walking the floor. We provide lunch so you may want to get to the hall early to eat before it opens to our attendees. No one wants to interrupt a person while they’re having lunch. DO NOT pack up before the show is over. The floor is open for a limited amount of time – make the most of it. Do not focus on lead count but rather lead quality – not everyone in the Expo is a prospect. Refrain from working on your laptop or checking your phone during exhibit hall hours. No one wants to interrupt anyone while their working. Try not to leave your booth unattended – take turns to keep booth staffed at all times. Enjoy yourself and have a good time. Remember you are your company’s expert. People want to talk and engage with happy friendly people.

NACUBO 2020 ANNUAL MEETING WASHINGTON, D.C. – JULY 11-14, 2020 EXHIBIT BOOTH SALES NACUBO is always striving to create a new and unique experience for our attendees and exhibitors alike. We want to get the layout and features just right for our D.C. annual meeting so we won’t be opening exhibit sales on-site in Austin this year. Look for 2020 exhibit booth registration details to come later this summer. Just as in the past, our valued 2019 exhibitors will have priority when selecting their 2020 booth location during our Priority Period, based on their priority points. The process will remain the same, but will begin a little later this year. Stay tuned for details.
