What is environmental engineering? Concerned with: protecting the environment from deleterious impacts of human activity and the application of technology protecting humans from adverse environmental factors improving environmental quality

Common focus of environmental engineering curricula Production of safe, palatable, and ample public water supplies Disposal or recycling of wastewater and solid wastes Control of water, soil, and atmospheric pollution Control and remediation of hazardous wastes
