5 For know and recognize this: Every sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, who is an idolater, does not have any inheritance in the kingdom of the Messiah and of God.   Ephesians 5:1-5

Some sins are worse than other sins. (But that doesn’t mean we should justify the smaller sins)

Some sins are worse than other sins. Numbers 15:27 – 31: Intentional sin is worse than unintentional sin Example: Judas’ sin (premeditated) was worse than Pilate’s sin: John 19:10-11

Some sins are worse than other sins. Genesis 18:20-21 The sin of Sodom/Gomorrah is so great…so grievous. Exodus 32:21, 30-31 Moses to Aaron: Why did you lead them into such a grave sin? Moses to Israel: You have committed a great sin. Moses to God: What a great sin these people have committed!

Some sins are worse than other sins. Jeremiah 16:12 God to Israel: You have behaved more corruptly than your fathers. Ezekiel 16:47 You not only walked in their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they.

Some sins are worse than other sins. 1 Timothy 5:8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 2 Timothy 3:13 Evil people and imposters will become worse….

Ephesians 5:3-5 (3 sins): v. 5: these people do not have an inheritance in the kingdom of Jesus and of God. Galatians 5:19-21 (15 sins): v. 21: people who practice these things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (9 sins): V. 9: the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom.
