Hiroshima Project Instructions

Project Instructions… As a way of assessing your understanding of the text, you will be completing a project… Please pay careful attention to the project instructions below. The project will demonstrate your understanding of the trials and tribulations of one of the six “characters” in the novel. You will need to consider… their personal life. their particular “situation” before and after the bombing. their immediate reaction to that trauma. their response after the fact.

Your Presentation… Needs to be completed alone or with a partner. Your project will need to be completed and you should be ready to present by Monday, April 15h. Please be sure to check any technology you are using with me prior to presentation day to make sure it is compatible with my computer and projection system. Needs to be at least 5 minutes long but not longer than 10. (Note: For every minute under 5, 10 points will be taken from the overall grade.)

Your presentation must include visuals, be informative, and be “performed” in some way. Possibilities: Song/Rap/Poem/Spoken Word Skit/Drama Power Point (to be used as part, do not read to us) Teaching a Lesson Video Reenactment Other Creative Possibilities (see me for approval)
