Shift the 3 two digits to the left.

Explain the pattern you can use to find the Choose three other two-digit numbers between 10 and 100 and multiply each of them by Explain the pattern you can use to find the product when multiplying a whole number by a power of 10.

Cut 2 index cards into 6 smaller cards. Label each card with “101”, “102”, and “103” two times so you have a total of 6 cards. On index cards write 50 different 2 digit decimal numbers. Taking turns, with a partner, draw 2 cards from the piles and multiply the numbers together.

If you get the answer correct, keep the cards. The player with the most cards at the end, wins.

How do you write 4.7 x 108 in standard form?
