Professional Development 2018 Learning Lab CAPR 60-2, para 3.2, all member 18 and older are required to take Cadet Protection refresher training every 48 months. Current training is Cadet Protection Basic Course (CBPC)

Professional Development 2018 Learning Lab CBPC involves: Study/Read Material, Quiz (10 question, open book) covering that material, and Summary Conversation with the commander (or other supervisor), professional development officer, or mentor which must be logged on the Leaning Management System in eServices.

Professional Development 2018 Learning Lab Recent Compliance Inspection: 01 Does the wing ensure members do not work with cadets without first completing Cadet Protection Program Training (CPPT)? 04 Has the Wing Commander appointed a TO for test security and administration? 05 Do composite and/or cadet squadrons which use paper tests have a TO appointed? 06 Does the wing ensure subordinate commanders are not appointed as Testing Officers (though they may be appointed as assistant TOs)?

Professional Development 2018 Learning Lab Using the eServices Member search (or Personnel > Duty Assignment > Reports) ensure they are not receiving any assigned duty position in the unit, directly supervising cadets on their own, being allowed to wear the Air Force-style CAP uniform, becoming eligible for promotion, or enrolling in AU A4/6 Courses.

Professional Development 2018 Learning Lab How to Verify Compliance Hard copy storage location will be inspected on site ONLY if testing materials are stored. Unit will provide copies of the TO inventory logs for the past 2 years (if tests were stored during that time).
