Over 20 years of experience at organising school holidays. Excellent reputation: all centres are staffed with fully qualified instructors.

Rooms Spacious, multi-bedded dormitories for children. Members of Glebe staff will be stationed in rooms within the children’s block(s) so they are always on call. Most rooms have en-suite facilities. Complimentary bedding, but you MUST bring towels. A member of JCA staff is on call 24 hours a day. At night, JCA staff patrol the grounds. Centre doors are secured and security is in place at all entrances. Children will get to nominate 3 children they’d like to share with; JCA doesn’t confirm room allocations until just before the trip.

The party will be in regular contact with school and they will probably be able to answer your queries. For emergency contact in the evening, please phone the centre (01743 874932) and ask to speak to Miss Baines/Mr Reed.

Contacting you… The party will be in regular contact with school and the main office will probably be able to answer your queries. Text messages will be sent from the school daily to update you on the party’s progress. Dojo will NOT be used: we have no guarantee of wireless connection on the site so will not be able to use/rely on this app. Please direct all messages during the week to the school office.

Behaviour Throughout the trip, we will naturally expect all children to maintain a high level of good behaviour. Misbehaviour may result in loss of privileges, e.g. loss of activity time/disco time.

Pocket Money This is OPTIONAL. Children are allowed to bring up to £10 in small denominations. It is their responsibility to look after the money for the duration of the trip.

Letters from home These are OPTIONAL. If you would like to write your child a letter, then please pack this in your child’s suitcase. It is up to you if you would like to write your child a letter.

Medicines and First Aid Please make sure you have handed in to your child’s class teacher, your Medical / Consent Forms, along with relevant medicines, including hayfever/allergy tablets/medicine. The child’s name, dosage required and times of administration must be clearly indicated. Medicines must not have exceeded their use-by date. If your child carries an inhaler or epi-pen, please ensure that they bring it with them and that we have spares. Children must administer their own suntan lotion. Please teach your child how to do this.   We have qualified first-aiders accompanying the group. They will attend to first aid and children’s other medical needs.

Coming Home… Our approximate return time on 14 June is 4.30 pm. The school will use its text message service to keep you informed. Please ensure that the school office has an up-to-date mobile phone number for you.

What to do next… Please fill in and return the medical forms (23rd May). Please get your child to sign the behaviour conduct sheet and return this form (23rd May). Please give medicines and administration instructions to your child’s class teacher (5th June). Please fill in contact details: up-to-date mobile numbers and addresses of where you will be overnight. Make one packed lunch for your child and prepare the hand luggage and overnight luggage.

ANY QUESTIONS? Please come up and ask us.
