Berlin, Germany Berlin has established itself as an internationally attractive city bustling with creativity and open to the world.

The Berlin Wall On 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall fell. The once divided city remembers the victims of the division at numerous sites. Bernauer Strasse Berlin Wall Memorial: this 1.4km stretch of street pays tribute to the victims of the wall and helps visitors understand how lives were lived on either side.

Historical Sites… Brandenburg Gate Reichstag The Reichstag was redesigned as a modern Parliament building while retaining its extensive, historical dimensions. A symbol of Berlin and German division during the Cold War, it is now a national symbol of peace and unity.

This historic center was once walled and still boasts delightful cobbled stones from the 17th – 19th centuries and the old Montreal port on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River.

2021 Montreal International Jazz Festival Ranked as the world’s largest jazz festival in the Guinness Book of World Records, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal has been synonymous with a passion for music for nearly 40 years.
