Nation building: Definition: The process of building a national identity to FOSTER social harmony and economic growth. A nation is more than a country In other words it’s a country and all the people who live in it.

Nation building: The process of building a nation is more than: Just voting for a government, Building infrastructure like roads, Schools and building hospitals, Making sure that everyone has access to jobs or housing.

What’s the meaning? Bulding a nation means creating a united sense or feeling of what it means to be South African. Mandela Specifically spoke of South Africa as the Rainbow nation.
