FAST Reporting Advanced Options Looking at “Foundation Reports” and the numerous ways to use, customize and make them perfect! One Report = So many options!

What is a Foundation Report? FAST comes with so many “baseline” reports to get you started These are the pre-built content that cover the full range of topics in each Banner module; we organize and label these reports for you Now it’s up to you to run, refine, format and save these reports to suit your own personal preference, reporting needs and data collection requirements

No such thing as one-size-fits-all These reports are versatile and can be sliced and diced in so many ways to customize the display and also the data being returned – even for the same end user and the same report! You are never stuck with any report “as is” – if it’s not quite right, let’s make it right!

Some of the tools available to help you: Report-Level formatting Column Level Filters Dynamic Selection Reporting Cross Tabs Grouping Options Advanced Options Sort, Hide, Re-arrange Bring back limited records Save subset of data for later use “Pivot” your results Count, Sum, Concatenate and more! One-stop shop at the report level

Let’s take a look at a few sample reports Quick Tip: When using FAST Cross Tabs, you can re-introduce up to 3 additional values from the original report!

Brand New FAST Tool: Sub-totaling

Remember: Saving a basic dataset of any report allows you to review the detail, on-demand, and always see current, up-to-date info!

Take a huge dataset and make it manageable

Don’t forget to save your work! Pinned Reports are your best friend… or at least they should be by now! This allows you to save the formatting, preferences and filter options to run quickly and easily the next time One foundation report can be saved an infinite number of times in a wide variety of ways! Save as a GRID for an even more versatile option! Hint: Dashboarding
