INTRODUCTION God has designed it that “man” must work - Psalm 104:23-24; Genesis 2:15 Idleness is discouraged in the Bible - Proverbs 14:23, 12:24 God promised to bless the work of our hand - Deuteronomy 28:12 People who succeed at what they do are those wise enough to know: what to do, when to do it and how to do it (1Chronicles 12:32).

WHY DO I NEED A JOB / A SWITCH? - Am I happy with my current state? - Is this where I wanted to be some years back? - Am I pleased to continue in this state/role for the upcoming years? - Is there a clear progression path if I continue in the same role? - Is there a clear progression path if I continue in the same place? - Can identify people around me, in the same line who I can look up to? Do I want to be like them? If the answer is "No" then follow with this: "How will I change my perspective or situation to create happiness? 1"

GENERAL JOB APPLICATION TIPS 3 Make sure you have an up-to-date CV which fully reflects your skills, education, work experience and personal profile. Try to keep it as brief and relevant as possible. Always support any job application with a clear overview or motivation letter setting out your primary requirements and career objectives. Be sure to customise this letter for each application. Stay flexible and be ready to attend interviews as opportunities emerge. Take initiative: To apply for work at a particular company that currently has no vacancies, send an unsolicited application. Some employers often appreciate the initiative.
