Tdw12 – user feedback survey YOUR FEEDBACK Tdw12 – user feedback survey

A. COMMON DATA ISSUES Slow internet speed / constant dropouts Takes long time to sync and upload attachments Issues related to Logsheet Errors in logsheet after entering Fixing errors time consuming Incomplete logsheet / missing pages Logsheet not attached on T2 for verification Issues with Data validation Unable to validate if iFIMIS data imported into T2 Data validation time consuming

A. Common Issues: Suggestions Regular communication with SPC and Users of T2 SPC to check on all T2 users on issues faced on a quarterly basis to avoid practical issues and update Tufman 2 accordingly and more user friendly where possible. SPC should advice on what to do when the error of logging in to Tufman 2. If possible email all Observer name and their respective codes Logsheet SPC format need to be revised Data validation Data Validation should be for responsible countries to which vessels are licensed to, while SPC could only provide a reminder to notice for parties to validate timely. Remove or delete the iFIMS trip and just enter into T2 using Logsheet so that it can appear in Dorado reporting

B. DATA SHARING 43% 57% Some countries (e.g. Fiji) data unavailable Responded NO They either have access to all the data they need from T2 43% Responded YES They need some data both flagged or coastal state but are not able to access Some countries (e.g. Fiji) data unavailable Vessels do not send the required data

B. Suggestions Better communication between member countries facilitated by SPC Agreement with the heads of Fisheries with member countries specifically, on data sharing. Penalties Some form of penalty for not sharing data
