AVIATION CLUB The aviation club looks at the history and science behind aviation. We will look at how academics intersect with aviation. We will explore both civil and military aviation as well as careers related to aviation.

Braves STEM 2019 Would you like to spend Viking Time running around outside, hitting baseballs being shot out of a machine, and competing in dice rolling? Then, the Braves STEM program is designed for you! Learn how baseball and other sports related activities connect to math, science, and technology.  So, the question is, do you want to spend Viking Time playing, being active, and being outside? If your answer is yes, then CHOOSE BRAVES STEM 2019!

DIGITAL Reading Escape Room Come and read a variety of fun, short stories such as Richard Connell’s “The Most Dangerous Game” and Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Cask of Amontillado”. Then, work in pairs to solve digital puzzles and ESCAPE the room! All work will be completed on laptops or personal devices. The first pair to solve everything correctly is the winner!

GENIUS HOUR Do you like to think outside of the box? Do you want to create something never before created? Invent something never invented? What would you create to help build a better world? Then you need to be a part of Genius Hour! We will teach you how to research your passion in order to create something uniquely yours that you will be able to share with the world! Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is genius, so this is a semester long course.

Chaos Control Not enough time in the day? Come find out how to keep school straight, organized and enjoyable, so that when you leave you have more free time at home to enjoy.

Physical Science Interactive Get into the science of vocabulary with interactive games! Your science grade will thank you!

Student Lighthouse Team Are you interested in leadership and being a student voice to make our school community even better? Join us for this year-long commitment and be the leader you are meant to be (this team will replace our former student council, and a teacher recommendation is needed to participate).

What a Novel Idea Have you ever experienced a great novel with friends? Check out this new group!

Wizarding World Come explore the wizarding world of Harry Potter with the book that started it all! Join us to read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!

Closed Sessions There will also be closed sessions to support identified students, and teachers will speak with these students about plans.
