What Tool Does Sets out expectations for region leaders. Mechanism for removal of a region leader for issues covered in the leadership commitment. Any removal of a region leader MUST follow due process
Using the Tool Encouraged to use, but not required Can apply to elected and appointed leaders If used, NO alterations to the tool MUST be adopted at a meeting of the region board with a motion to adopt in the minutes Should be read and signed each year Governor responsible for maintaining signed commitments
If expectations aren’t met… Concerns in any of the areas covered by the Leadership Commitment must be sent to governor, with copies to SIA President and SIA Executive Director/CEO Concerns about elected region leaders must be handled in accordance with region bylaws and Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised (11th edition currently)
