levels about important materials follow assessment Midterm It is very important for you to attend classes regularly as there is no make-up for ELT, portfolio tasks and online studies. Midterm Language Portfolio Class Performance End of Level Test Make-up exam is applied in accordance with the regulations. You are advised to receive feedback on your exam result. Exam result objection petitions must be delivered within 3 work days after the announcements of results. Receive feedback and do and improve your tasks regularly during the level. No objection to portfolio grade is accepted at the end of the level. Instructors grade your performance based on the criteria. No objection to this grade is accepted at the end of the level. No objection to the results related to optic sheet form mistakes is accepted.

levels about important materials follow assessment Lateness Attendance You must attend the class on time sign in the attendance sheet every lesson hour. Latecomers are not allowed. Attendance You have 35 hours of absence (24 hours for period 1). If you exceed this limit, you have to repeat the level. You are responsible for keeping details of your absent days. Management and/or instructors cannot give permission for absenteeism for your any excuse (e.g. Travelling, visa, sickness and etc.). Please save your absenteeism hours for these kind of situations. Health reports are not substituted for absent hours (except for the situations that require 20 days or more treatment – council report) Lab Courses Attendance is compulsory. Your online study results are added your level average grade as bonus point. Clubs You can attend language clubs for free. Follow announcements for other activities organized by SFL. Student’s Resource Room Use the resource room to improve your English as much as possible. Read books, study for exams, watch and listen to programmes. Materials You must attend the class with your materials. Photocopy books are not allowed.

levels about materials follow assessment Rules and suggestions You can’t take food and drink to classroom. Attend the classes regularly Revise and practice every day. You can’t use classroom speakers, smartboard etc. out of class hours. Do your homework and other tasks on time. Mobile phones are not allowed on exam days. Watch movies, TV series, listen to music and read stories in English in your daily life. You must have your student ID card on exam days. Ask questions. Participate in the activities in lessons. Discipline rules and regulations are applied on condition that a student cheated in an exam/assignment. Use the right resources in the right way. Discover your learning styles. REMEMBER! You cannot learn a foreign language only in classroom. What you do outside of school on behalf of English will be directly proportional to your success.
