Presentation transcript:

Starflight--the Alpha and Omega of Real Space Exploration Breakthroughs in propulsion and power will enable the expansion of humanity into the solar system--but this is but an infinitesimal part of the stupendous vastness of space Star travel will be the “alpha and omega” of real space ex-ploration--the beginning and ending of humanity’s expan- sion into all of space’s vastness that humanity needs to go But star travel must build on power and propulsion break-throughs achieved for cost-effective interplanetary travel And these power and propulsion breakthroughs for planet- ary travel are the same as those needed to meet the future terrestrial energy and transportation needs of planet Earth
