Spanish 3 – Para Empezar Index Card Set-up Index cards will be due throughout the semester periodically for a homework grade. They will be assigned/announced ahead of time, and will cover new conjugations and grammar concepts. These will be written and studied to help prepare you for your quizzes and tests, and to be used as an extra resource for papers and activities in class. (This will be especially important when we write more difficult papers at the end of the semester! This will be your “cheat sheet”!) If you take Spanish 4 next semester we will add to them (so don’t throw them away!) If you take AP next year these will be VERY useful! 

Spanish 3 – Para Empezar Index Card Set-up Use this set-up presentation as a starting point for your own set of cards. These are just examples. I will always let you know the minimum amount of cards that are due and what the topic of each card should be (i.e. Present Tense – Regular Verbs). Use the notes and activities from class to fill in your cards. For organization and easy access, your cards should include the topic on the top (in this example set, “Present Tense”), and usually another helpful category, like “Regular Verbs”, “Irregular Verbs”, “Stem-changing Verbs”, etc. You have free reign to format these cards in any way you feel will be most helpful to you. This is your study tool! (i.e. If you like to color code things, make them colorful. If you like to use visuals like charts, draw charts on your cards. If you think example verbs or sentences will help, or more cards with conjugations on them, you can add as you go.) How much or how little information you choose to include is up to you. As long as you have some information on the topics on the card, you will get completion credit for the assignment. Feel free to contact me via Remind or e-mail if you’re unsure.
